INITIALISATION OF CLUTCH PROTECTION DATA


AIM
When replacing the clutch disk, as the multiple clutch load information stored so far should be deleted from the ECU, initialise the clutch protection data according to the following conditions and steps.

CONDITIONS

  • Ignition switch: ON

1.
caution Before connecting or disconnecting the M.U.T.-III, turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.
Connect the M.U.T.-III to the diagnosis connector.
2.Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
3.Select "POWER TRAIN."
4.Select "Automated-M/T."
5.Select "Special Function."
6.Select "Clutch."
7.Select "INIT. of Clutch Protection Data" on "Special Function Command" to perform the initialisation.
8.After completion of the learning, terminate the M.U.T.-III and turn the ignition switch to LOCK (OFF) [Turning OFF the automated manual transmission control relay].
9.Remove the M.U.T.-III.
