TEACH IN CLUTCH END POSITION


AIM
When replacing the engine-A-M/T-ECU, clutch actuator, or clutch cover disk, the learned value of the clutch actuator should be initialised. After initialising the learned value, perform the clutch end position learning according to the following conditions and steps.

CONDITIONS

  • Ignition switch: ON
  • Engine: Stop
  • Vehicle speed: 0 km/h
  • Automated manual transmission control relay: ON
  • Battery voltage: 9 V or more
  • Automated manual transmission or input speed sensor: No malfunction

caution Before connecting or disconnecting the M.U.T.-III, turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.
Connect the M.U.T.-III to the diagnosis connector.
2.Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
3.Select "POWER TRAIN."
4.Select "Automated-M/T."
5.Select "Special Function."
6.Select "Clutch."
7.Select "Teach In Clutch End Position" on "Special Function Command" to perform the learning.
8.After completion of the learning, terminate the M.U.T.-III and turn the ignition switch to LOCK (OFF) [Turning OFF the automated manual transmission control relay].
9.Remove the M.U.T.-III.
