Pre-removal Operation
  • Engine Coolant Draining (Refer to GROUP 14, On-vehicle Service - Engine Coolant Replacement ).
  • Air Cleaner Assembly Removal (Refer to ).
  • Throttle Body Removal (Refer to GROUP 13A, Throttle Body ).
  • Fuel Delivery Pipe and Fuel Injector Assembly Removal (Refer to GROUP 13A, Injector ).

 Post-installation Operation
  • Fuel Delivery Pipe and Fuel Injector Assembly Installation (Refer to GROUP 13A, Injector ).
  • Throttle Body Installation (Refer to GROUP 13A, Throttle Body ).
  • Air Cleaner Assembly Installation (Refer to ).
  • Engine Coolant Refilling (Refer to GROUP 14, On-vehicle Service - Engine Coolant Replacement ).

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINT

caution Do not over-tighten. As the self-forming-type screw is used, the excessive torque can damage the inlet manifold threads.

>>B<<INLET MANIFOLF/INLET MANIFOLF STAY INSTALLATION
1.Install the inlet manifold and Inlet manifold stay temporarily tighten the mounting bolts.
2.
caution Check that the sealing surfaces of the inlet manifold and inlet manifold stay contact securely after temporary tightening.
Tighten the inlet manifold and Inlet manifold stay bolts to the specified torque.
Tightening torque : 18 ± 1 N·m
