REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION <4G1>


caution
  • When removing or installing the air flow sensor, be careful not to apply impact to the sensor.
  • Do not reuse the air flow sensor that has been dropped.
Pre-removal Operation
  • Strut Tower Bar Removal (Refer to GROUP 42, Strut Tower Bar ).

 Post-installation Operation
  • Strut Tower Bar Installation (Refer to GROUP 42, Strut Tower Bar ).

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINTS

>>A<< AIR INTAKE HOSE INSTALLATION

Install by aligning the mating mark on the air intake hose and the centre of the nipple on the turbocharger assembly.

>>B<< AIR BY-PASS VALVE CONNECTION INSTALLATION

Install by aligning the mating mark (white) on the air by-pass valve and the mating mark on the air intake hose.
