Inspection Procedure 3: The Engine Warning Lamp Remains Illuminating and Never Goes Out

COMMENT ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM

• Engine-ECU or engine-A-M/T-ECU has detected failed sensor or failed actuator. Or failure is possibly caused by short circuit or other faults.
  

PROBABLE CAUSE

• Short circuit in combination meter circuit
  

	Inspection chart for diagnosis code (Refer to ).

	Go to Step 2 .

	Check combination meter (Refer to GROUP 54A - Combination Meter - Check Chart for Trouble Symptoms <COLT>, <COLT CZ3>).

	Intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunctions ).
