FUEL PRESSURE SOLENOID VALVE CHECK


OPERATION CHECK

1.Remove the vacuum hose from the solenoid valve.
2.Disconnect the harness connector.

3.Connect a hand vacuum pump to the solenoid valve’s A nipple.
4.Connect the solenoid valve terminal and battery terminal with a jumper wire.
5.Disconnect the jumper wire between the battery (-) terminal, apply a negative pressure, and inspect the tightness.

Standard valve:
Battery voltage
 B nipple
 Normal condition
No applied
 Open
 Vacuum leak
Close
 Vacuum maintained
Applied
 Open
 Vacuum maintained

COIL RESISTANCE CHECK

1.Measure the resistance between the terminals of the solenoid valve.
Standard value: 29 - 35 Ω (at 20°C)
