Child Seat Anchor Fitting Replacement

Standard Attachment Point

1.	Remove the child seat anchor fitting cover (A) from the middle attachment point (B) on the rear of the headliner.   CBDA5/16-18UNC 22 N·m (2.2 kgf·m, 16 lbf·ft)C

2.	Remove the child seat anchor fitting (C). Do not remove the toothed washer (D) from the anchor fitting.

3.	Install the child seat anchor fitting in the reverse order of removal.

Other Attachment Points

Remove the child seat anchor fitting from the middle attachment point, and reinstall the anchor fitting to other attachment point.

Installation to right attachment point:

1.	Remove the anchor cap (A) from the right attachment point (B).   CBDAE5/16-18UNC 22 N·m (2.2 kgf·m, 16 lbf·ft)

2.	Reinstall the child seat anchor fitting (C).

3.	Reinstall the child seat anchor fitting cover (D).

4.	Install the anchor cap (A) to the middle attachment point (E).

Installation to left attachment point:

5.	Pry the lid (A) of the rear center shoulder seat belt retractor cover (B) down, and remove the bolt (C) from the left attachment point (D). Do not remove the toothed washer (E) from the bolt.   C 5/16-18UNC 22 N·m (2.2 kgf·m, 16 lbf·ft)BDAFE5/16-18UNC 22 N·m (2.2 kgf·m, 16 lbf·ft)CE

6.	Reinstall the child seat anchor fitting (E).

7.	Store the removed retractor bolt (C) and the child seat anchor fitting cover (F).
