Turbocharger and Exhaust Manifold Removal

  1. Remove the splash shield (see step 19 on page 5-5).
  1. Remove the harness clamp (A) and the intercooler inlet hose (B).

  1. Remove the A/C compressor clutch connector (A), then remove the harness clamp (B) and A/C compressor mounting bolts (C).

  1. Remove the A/C compressor bracket.

  1. Remove the oil return hose (A) and two bolts (B) securing the alternator, then move the alternator (C).
