Oil Pump Reassembly
- Install the outer rotor (A) into the cylinder block.
- Install the inner rotor (B) into the outer rotor.
- Install the oil pump retainer (C) on the cylinder block.
- Clean sealing surfaces and remove liquid gasket residue.
- Coat inner and outer rotor with oil and insert in cylinder block.
- Insert new gasket (A) in groove in oil pump
- Apply a bead of liquid gasket to sealing surface (crosshatched) of oil pump retainer.
Install oil pump retainer (A) to cylinder block.
Tightening torque;
9.8 Nm (1.0 kgf/m, 7.2 lbf/ft)
