  1. Select and install the new crankshaft bearings, paying close attention to the cylinder block journal hole diameter grade mark and the crankshaft journal diameter grade mark.

  1. Check to see if the bearing has enough tension, so that a good finger pressure is needed to fit the bearing into position.
