- Clean sealing surfaces and remove liquid gasket residue.
- Apply liquid gasket (A) and (B) to sealing surfaces on the camshaft carrier.
Note: Oil return bore must not be covered with liquid gasket. Install the head cover with new gasket to camshaft carrier and install the upper part of timing cover.
- Tighten cylinder head cover with tightening order in the illustration.
Tightening torque:
9.8 Nm (1.0 kgf/m, 7.2 lbf/ft)
