  1. Remove the nut M8 from the connecting wiring harness on the magnetic switch. Remove the wiring harness from magnetic switch.

  1. Remove the nut M5 (A) from magnetic switch. Remove magnetic switch assembly (B) from starter assembly.

  1. Remove the screw M4 (A) from the rear cover and the through bolts (B) from the starter assembly, then remove the rear cover (C).

  1. Remove the thrust washer B (A). Push up the brushes then remove the brush holder assembly (B).
