DTC Troubleshooting: B1355
| DTC B1355: | Power Tailgate Control Unit Lost Communication with MICU |
| 1. | Clear the DTCs by selecting the DTCs MENU (DTCs) from the Honda PGM Tester or the HDS. |
| 2. | Cycle the ignition switch to OFF and then back ON. |
| 3. | Check the DTCs by selecting the DTCs MENU (DTCs) from the Honda PGM Tester or the HDS. Are DTC B1055, B1157, B1255, B1156, B1355 and B1605 indicated? YES - Faulty MICU: replace the under-dash fuse/relay box.n NO - Go to 4. |
| 4. | Check for continuity between the No. 3 and the No. 5 terminals of power tailgate control unit connector B (5P) and body ground. POWER TAILGATE CONTROLUNIT CONNECTOR B (5P)Wire side of female terminalsBLKBLK Is there continuity? YES - Faulty power tailgate control unit; replace it.n NO - Repair an open in the BLK wire(s), or poor ground (G705).n |
