Power Tailgate Drive Unit Replacement

1.Remove the headliner.

2.Remove the three mounting bolts from the power tailgate control unit.

3.Disconnect the connectors (A) from the power tailgate control unit (B).

4.Remove the lock washer (A) and washer (B) from the tailgate hinge (C).

22 N·m (2.2 kgf·m, 16 lbf·ft)

5.Remove the four mounting bolts, then remove the power tailgate drive unit (D).

6.Install in the reverse order of removal.
