Center Console Removal/Installation

NOTE:

• When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.
  
• Take care not to scratch the front seat, dashboard, and related parts.
  

1.	M/T: Remove the shift knob (A). -1  5-speed M/T: Lower the shift lever boot (B) to release the hook (C) from the knob. -2  6-speed M/T: Loosen the lock nut (D). -3  Remove the shift knob. 5-speed M/T:6-speed M/T:ADABC(1)(2)

2.	Detach the clips (A, B) by pulling the center console front panel (C) up, If equipped, disconnect the seat heater switch connectors (D). Fastener LocationsA: Clip, 2B: Clip, 4ABCDABBB

3.	Detach the clips (A) by pulling the ashtray (B) up. Fastener Location: Clip, 1AAB

4.	Remove the screws (A), detach the clips (B) and hook (C) by pulling the center holder (D) up, and disconnect the cigarette lighter connector (E), cigarette lighter light connector (F), and cigarette lighter light bulb socket (G). Fastener LocationsA: Screw, 2B: Clip, 2BCDABC: Hook, 1AEFG

5.	Detach the clips (A, B) by pulling the center console rear panel (C) up. Fastener LocationsA: Clip, 5B: Clip, 2ABACBAAA

6.	Remove the center console (A). -1  Open the console box lid (B) then remove the console mat (C). -2  Remove the screws (D, E), then pull up the rear portion of the console up to release the hooks (F), then remove it. ABCDDDEFFDEFastener Locations: Screw, 4D: Screw, 2E

7.	Install the console in the reverse older of removal, and replace any dameged clips
