| DTC B1377: | Power Tailgate Inner Switch Signal Error |
| 1. | Clear the DTC by selecting the DTCs MENU (DTCs) from the Honda PGM Tester or the HDS. |
| 2. | Cycle the ignition switch to OFF and then back ON. |
| 3. | Open the tailgate fully with the transmitter, and push the power tailgate inner switch 2 seconds or more. |
| 4. | Check for DTCs by selecting the DTCs MENU (DTCs) from the Honda PGM Tester or the HDS. Is DTC B1377 indicated? YES - Go to 5. NO - Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.n |
| 5. | Cycle the ignition switch to OFF. |
| 6. | Open the tailgate fully with the transmitter. |
| 7. | Disconnect connector A (26P) from the power tailgate control unit. |
| 8. | Check the continuity between the No. 9 and No. 12 terminals of power tailgate control unit connector A (26P) and body ground. Is there continuity? YES - Repair a short in the WHT/BLK (GTSW) or YEL/BLK (SCOM) wire.n NO - Go to 9. |
| 9. | Check for continuity between the No. 9 and No. 12 terminals of power tailgate control unit connector A (26P). Is there continuity with Power Tailgate Inner Switch pulled, and no continuity with Power Tailgate Inner Switch releaced? YES - Faulty power tailgate control unit; replace it.n NO - Repair an open in the WHT/BLK (GTSW) or YEL/BLK (SCOM) wire, or faulty power tailgate inner switch; replace it.n |
