| DTC B1357: | Power Tailgate Control Unit Lost Communication with Gauge Control Module (VSP/NE Message) |
| 1. | Clear the DTC by selecting the DTCs MENU (DTCs) from the Honda PGM Tester or the HDS. |
| 2. | Cycle the ignition switch to OFF and then back ON. |
| 3. | Check for DTCs by selecting the DTCs MENU (DTCs) from the Honda PGM Tester or the HDS. Are is DTC B1060, B1205, B1357 and B1610? YES - Go to 4. NO - Faulty gauge control module; replace it.n |
| 4. | Check for continuity between the No. 3 and No. 5 terminals of power tailgate control unit connector B (5P) and body ground. Is there continuity? YES - Faulty power tailgate control unit; replace it.n NO - Repair an open in the BLK wire(s), or poor ground (G705).n |
