| 1. | Remove the tailgate lower trim panel. |
| 2. | Remove the bolts (A) and nuts (B) securing the tailgate lower trim. |
| 3. | Pull out along the bottom of the tailgate lower trim (A) to detach the lower clips (B). While pinching the upper clips (C) from inside the tailgate, remove the tailgate lower trim. Disconnect the license light subharness connector (D). |
| 4. | If necessary, remove the clips (A) as shown, and disconnect the license light connectors (B), then remove the stiffener (C). Detach the clips (D), then remove the license light subharness (E) from the stiffener. Remove the clips (F), and license lights (G) from the trim. |
| 5. | Install the trim in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
