Rear Seat Belt Replacement

NOTE: Check the rear seat belts for damage, and replace them if necessary. Be careful not to damage them during removal and installation.

Rear Seat Belt


1.Remove the rear seat side bolster.

2.Fold the seat-back forward, then remove the lower anchor bolt (A).

3.Recline the seat-back half-way back, then remove these items:


4.Release the clips fastening the seat-back cover as needed, and unzip the cover.

5.Remove the center headrest guides from the seat-back.

6.Recline the seat-back fully, and secure it. Pull out the center seat belt as needed (right seat-back), then pull back the seat-back cover/pad from the frame.

7.Remove the screw (A), then remove the retractor cover (B).

8.Remove the upper anchor bolt (A), retractor mounting bolt (B), and the retractor bolt (C), then remove the rear seat belt (D) and retractor (E).

9.Install the seat belt in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

Center Seat Belt and Seat Belt Buckles


1.Tilt the seat-back forward to tip the seat cushion up on each side.

2.Remove the rear seat belt lower anchor covers.

3.Remove the center anchor bolts (A), and remove the seat belt buckles (B) and center seat belt (C).

4.Remove these items:


5.Release the clips fastening the seat-back cover as needed, and unzip the cover.

6.Remove the center headrest guides from the seat-back.

7.Recline the seat-back fully, and secure it. Pull out the seat belt as need, then pull back the seat-back cover/pad from the frame.

8.Remove the screw (A), then remove the retractor cover (B).

9.Remove the upper anchor bolt (A), retractor mounting bolt (B), and the retractor bolt (C), then remove the rear seat belt (D) and retractor (E).

10.Install the seat belt in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
