Maintenance Schedule for Severe Conditions


Follow the Severe Conditions schedule if the vehicle is driven MAINLY under one or more of the following conditions:


NOTE: If the vehicle is driven OCCASIONALLY under severe conditions, follow the Normal Conditions Maintenance Schedule.

Replace fuel filter
Replace every 40,000 km (25,000 miles) or 2 years when the customer suspects if the fuel filter is clogged by fuel contamination. The filter may be clogged when driving in high dust environment conditions, and when used with contaminated fuel.

Replace engine coolant At 200,000 km (120,000 miles) or 10 years, then replace every 100,000 km (60,000 miles) or 5 years

Inspect front and rear brakes.
  • Check the brake pad and disc thickness. Check for damage or cracks.
  • Check the calipers for damage, leaks, and tightness.
 
Every 10,000 km (6,250 miles) or 6 months 
Replace brake fluid Every 3 years

Replace dust and pollen filter Every 30,000 km (18,750 miles) or 1 year 
Check lights alignment.
  • Check the position of the headlights

Test drive
  • Check for road stability, noise, vibrations dashboard operation

Rotate tyres
  • Check tyre inflation and condition at least per month.

Visually inspect the following items:
  • Check for correct installation and position, check for cracks, deterioration, rust, and leaks.
  • Check tightness of screws, nuts, and joints. If necessary, retighten.
 
Tie rod ends, steering gearbox, and boots Every 10,000 km (6,250 miles) or 6 months 
Suspension components 
Driveshaft boots
