| DTC 8: | A Short in the Evaporator Temperature Sensor Circuit |
| 1. | Remove the evaporator temperature sensor. |
| 2. | Test the evaporator temperature sensor. Is the resistance within the specifications shown on the graph? YES - Go to 3. NO - Replace the evaporator temperature sensor.n |
| 3. | Disconnect audio-HVAC module 22P connector. |
| 4. | Check for continuity between the No. 10 terminal of the audio-HVAC module 22P connector and body ground. Is there continuity? YES - Repair short to body ground in the wire between the audio-HVAC module and the evaporator temperature sensor.n NO - Substitute a known-good audio-HVAC module, and recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away, replace the original printed circuit board.n |
