| DTC 7: | An Open in the Evaporator Temperature Sensor Circuit |
| 1. | Remove the evaporator temperature sensor and test it. Does the evaporator temperature sensor test OK? YES - Go to 2. NO - Replace the evaporator temperature sensor.n |
| 2. | Disconnect the audio-HVAC module 22P connector. |
| 3. | Check for continuity between the No. 10 terminal of the audio-HVAC module 22P connector and the No. 1 terminal of the evaporator temperature sensor 2P connector. Is there continuity? YES - Go to 4. NO - Repair open in the wire between the audio-HVAC module and the evaporator temperature sensor.n |
| 4. | Check for continuity between the No. 9 terminal of the audio-HVAC module 22P connector and the No. 2 terminal of the evaporator temperature sensor 2P connector. Is there continuity? YES - Check for loose wires or poor connections at the audio-HVAC module 22P connectors and at the evaporator temperature sensor 2P connector. If the connections are good, substitute a known-good audio-HVAC module, and recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away, replace the original printed circuit board.n NO - Repair open in the wire between the printed circuit board and the evaporator temperature sensor.n |
