VSA Modulator-Control Unit Removal and Installation

NOTE:

Removal


1.Pull up the lock (A) of the VSA control unit 47P connector (B), and the connector disconnects itself.

2.Disconnect the six brake lines.

3.Remove the three 6 mm bolts.

4.Remove the VSA modulator-control unit (C).

Installation


1.Install the VSA modulator-control unit, then tighten the tree 6 mm bolts.

2.Reconnect the six brake lines, then tighten the nuts.

3.Align the connecting surface of the VSA control unit 47P connector.

4.Push in the lock of the VSA control unit 47P connector until you hear it click into place, then connect the connector.

5.Bleed the brake system, starting with the front wheels.

6.Start the engine, and check that the ABS indicator goes off.

7.Test-drive the vehicle, and check that the ABS indicator does not come on.
