| DTC 50, 51: | Central Processing Unit (CPU) |
| 1. | Clear the DTC. |
| 2. | Start the engine. |
| 3. | Wait at least 10 seconds. Does the EPS indicator come on? YES - Go to 4. NO - The system is OK at this time.n |
| 4. | Verify the DTC. Is DTC 50 or 51 indicated? YES - Check for loose wires or poor connections at EPS control unit connectors. If necessary, substitute a known-good EPS control unit and recheck.n NO - Perform the appropriate troubleshooting for the code indicated.n |
