| 1. | Remove the steering gearbox. |
| 2. | Loosen the locknut (A), then remove the rack guide screw (B), spring (C), and rack guide (D). |
| 3. | Apply multipurgrease to the sliding surface of the rack guide, and install it onto the gearbox houshing. Wipe the grease off the threaded section (F) of the housing. |
| 4. | Replace the O-ring (E), and carefully fit it on the rack guide screw groove. |
| 5. | Install the spring, rack guide screw and lockout. |
| 6. | Adjust the rack guide screw. After adjusting, check that the rack moves smoothly by sliding the rack right and left. |
