Memorizing the EPS Torque Sensor Neutral Position

The torque sensor neutral position must be memorized whenever the gearbox is removed or installed, or when the torque sensor or EPS control unit is replaced. Note that the torque sensor neutral position is not affected when erasing the DTC.

1.	With the ignition switch OFF, connect the Honda PGM Tester (A) or the HDS to the 16P Data Link Connector (DLC) (B) located under the dash on the driver's side of the vehicle.

2.	Turn the ignition switch ON (II), and memorizing the torque sensor neutral position by following the screen prompts on the PGM Tester. NOTE: See the Honda PGM Tester user's manual, or the HDS help menu for secific instructions.
