| DTC B1005: | MICU Lost Communication with Relay Control Module |
| 1. | Clear the DTCs using the Honda PGM Tester or the HDS. |
| 2. | Cycle the ignition switch to OFF and then back ON. |
| 3. | Check for DTCs by selecting the DTCs MENU (DTCs) from the Honda PGM Tester or the HDS. Is DTC B1005 indicated? YES - Go to 4. NO - Intermittent failure, the relay module is OK at this time.n |
| 4. | Check for DTCs in the gauge control module by selecting the DTCs MENU (DTCs) from the Honda PGM Tester or the HDS. Is DTC B1158 indicated? YES - Go to relay module input test.n NO - Check for an open, or a short to power or ground in the communication circuit between the MICU and the door multiplex control unit. If the circuit is OK, replace the MICU. If the circuit is bad, repair the open, or short to power or ground.n |
