| 1. | Do the fuel gauge sending unit test. Is the fuel gauge sending unit OK? YES - Go to 2. NO - Replace the fuel gauge sending unit.n |
| 2. | Disconnect the gauge 30P connector control module. |
| 3. | Check for continuity between the No. 3 and No. 4 terminals of the gauge control module 30P connector and No. 1and No. 2 terminals of the fuel pump/fuel gauge sending unit 5P connector. Is there continuity? YES - Go to 4. NO - Repair an open in the BLK/WHT and BRN or YEL/BLK and PUR wire between the gauge control module and fuel gauge sending unit.n |
| 4. | Check for continuity between the No. 3 and No. 4 terminals of the gauge control module 30P connector and body ground. Is there continuity? YES - Repair a short in the BLK/WHT or YEL/BLK wire.n |
