The picture is missing a Red, Green or Blue color or tone


NOTE: Always check the connectors for poor connections or loose terminals.

1.Perform the start-up procedure. Press the monitor button then press the RGB color button.

Are the Red, Green, and Blue colored circles shown?


YES - Push the return button. Push the color change button, and then press the Default button to restore the standard color settings.n


NO - Go to 2.


2.Turn the ignition switch to OFF.

3.Disconnect the navigation unit connector A (20P) and display unit 20P connector.

4.Check for loose terminals at navigation unit connector A (20P) and display unit 20P connector.

Are there loose terminals?


YES - Repair the terminal.n


NO - Go to 5.

5.Check for continuity between the appropriate terminals of navigation unit connector A (20P) to display unit 20P connector based on the missing color(s).

Blue A11 18 YEL 
Green A2 RED 
Red A1 WHT 

Is there continuity?


YES - Go to 6.


NO - There is an open in the circuit between the display unit and the navigation unit. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the display and navigation units. If a poor connection or loose terminal is found, replace the affected shielded harness.n

6.Check for continuity between the appropriate terminals of navigation unit connector A (20P) and display unit 20P connector based on the missing color(s).

Is there continuity?


YES - There is a short to body ground in the circuit between the display unit and the navigation unit. Replace the affected shielded harness.n


NO - Replace the navigation unit. If the problem is still unresolved, replace the display unit.n
