Exterior Lights Description
With HID Lamp:
Automatic headlights adjuster system is composed of the headlights adjuster control unit front and rear, headlights adjuster leveling sensors, and left and right headlight leveling motors.
The system detects the vehicle posture every three minutes during running constantly with the headlight switch ON, and after eight seconds when the vehicle is stopped running with the ignition switch ON (II) and headlight switch ON.
If the vehicle posture has been changed, adjust the headlight vertical position automatically.
Headlights Adjuster Leveling Sensors:
The front headlights adjuster leveling sensor is located between the front suspension sub-frame and the stabilizer bar connecting by shaft, and rear headlights adjuster leveling sensor is located between right rear suspension sub-frame and the right side rear damper connecting by the shaft. Detects the vehicle posture and send a voltage signals (approximately 0.4 V to 4.6 V) to the headlights adjuster control unit.
Headlights Adjuster Control Unit:
The headlights adjuster control unit is located in the driver's dashboard lower caver. The headlights adjuster control unit send a voltage signal that is based on the voltage signal (approximately 2 V to 11 V) from the sensor to the left and right headlight leveling motors.
Headlight Leveling Motors:
The headlight leveling motor is located behind the left and right headlights and adjusters the headlights vertical position by receiving the voltage signal (approximately 2 V to 11 V) from the headlights adjuster control unit.
