| -1 | Remove the hood rear seal (A) by pulling it out. Using a clip remover, detach the clip (B) from the cowl covers. Take care not to scratch the cowl covers.

| -2 | Detach the clips (C, D) by carefully pulling the passenger's cowl cover (E) upward, and release the hook (F) on the passenger's cowl cover from the driver's, then remove the cover by releasing the hook (G). Take care not to scratch the body.

| -3 | Disconnect the windshield washer tubes (H). LHD is shown; RHD is disconnecting the washer tube at the center.

| -4 | Detach the clips (C, D) by carefully pulling the driver's cowl cover (I) upward, then remove the cover by releasing the hooks (H). Take care not to scratch the body.

| -5 | RHD: Disconnect the windshield washer tube.
