Measure the resistance between No. 3 and No. 5 terminals of the left engine compartment subharness 14P connector (LHD models) or E-pretensioner subharness 14P connector (RHD models). There should be an open circuit or at least 1 MΩ.
Short in the dashboard wire harness, the left engine compartment subharness (LHD models) or E-pretensioner subharness (RHD models); replace the faulty harness.■
