F-CAN Circuit Troubleshooting
  1. Measure the resistance between ECM/PCM connector terminals A3 and A4.
Is there about 2.34−2.86 kΩ?
YES -
Update the ECM/PCM if it does not have the latest software, or substitute a known-good ECM/PCM , then recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away with a known-good ECM/PCM, replace the original ECM/PCM. ■
NO -
Substitute a known-good E-pritensioner unit. If the HDS identify the vehicle, replace the original E-pritensioner unit. ■
  1. Disconnect these connectors:
    • Gauge control module 32P.
    • VSA modulator-control unit 47P.
    • Yaw rate-lateral acceleration sensor 4P.
    • EPS control unit D (28P).
    • SRS unit A (39P).
    • LKAS control unit 26P (with driving support system).
    • ACC unit 20P (with driving support system).
    • E-pritensioner unit 14P (with driving support system).
    • Navigation unit 32P (with navigation system).
