DTC Troubleshooting: P0103 (50)

DTC P0103:
 MAF Sensor Circuit High Voltage
NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot, and review the general troubleshooting information.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), and wait 2 seconds.
  1. Check the MAF SENSOR in the DATA LIST with the HDS.
Is about 202 gm/s, or 4.89 V or more indicated?
YES -
Go to Step 3 .
NO -
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the MAF sensor and the ECM/PCM.■
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
  1. Jump the SCS line with the HDS.
  1. Disconnect the MAF sensor/IAT sensor 5P connector.
  1. Disconnect ECM/PCM connector B (44P).
  1. Check for continuity between MAF sensor/IAT sensor 5P connector terminal No. 4 and ECM/PCM connector terminal B32.
Is there continuity?
YES -
Go to Step 8 .
NO -
Repair open in the wire between the ECM/PCM (B32) and the MAF sensor, then go to Step 15 .
  1. Reconnect ECM/PCM connector B (44P).
