Measure the resistance between No. 3 terminal of the left engine compartment subharness 14P connector (LHD models) or E-pretensioner subharness 14P connector (RHD models) and body ground, and between the No. 5 terminal and body ground. There should be an open circuit or at least 1 MΩ.
Short to ground in the dashboard wire harness, the left engine compartment subharness (LHD models) or E-pretensioner subharness (RHD models); replace the faulty harness.■
