Connect the HDS to the data link connector (DLC) located under the driver's side of the dashboard.

Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

Make sure the HDS communicates with the vehicle and the ECM/PCM. If it doesn't communicate, troubleshoot the DLC circuit.

Select BODY ELECTRICAL with the HDS.

Select ADJUSTMENT in GAUGE MENU with the HDS.

Select SERVICE REMINDER in the EU MAINTENANCE MINDER with the HDS.

Select SERVICE REMINDER ITEM 8 with the HDS.
