Thermostat Replacement
  1. Drain the engine coolant.
  1. Remove the harness clamp bracket and the thermostat cover, then remove the thermostat.
  1. Install the thermostat with a new rubber seal.
  1. Refill the radiator with engine coolant, then bleed the air from the cooling system.
  1. Clean up any spilled engine coolant.
