A/T Interlock System - Shift Lock Solenoid Replacement
Insert a 6 mm pin (A) into the guide hole (B), and push the shift lock solenoid (C) out.
Disconnect the shift lock solenoid harness connector (D).
Replace the shift lock solenoid.
Apply silicone grease to the tip (E) of the shift lock stop and the shift lock solenoid plunger (F).
NOTE: When you apply the silicone grease, make sure not to adhere to the terminal part of connectors and surrounding switches. Also do not touch the switches and the termianl part of connector by hands or glove that adheres the silicone grease.
Connect the shift lock solenoid harness connector.
Install the shift lock solenoid by aligning the joint of the shift lock solenoid plunger with the tip of the shift lock stop, then push the shift lock solenoid into the shift lever securely.
