A/T Interlock System - Park Pin Switch Test
  1. Remove the center console.
  1. Disconnect the shift lever 6P connector.
  1. Shift into P, and check for continuity between park pin switch/A/T gear position indicator panel light connector terminals No. 1 and No. 2.
    There should be no continuity.
  1. Shift out of P, and check for continuity between connector terminals No. 1 and No. 2.
    There should be continuity.
  1. If the park pin switch tests OK.
    If the park pin switch fails the test, replace the park pin switch; LHD model, RHD model.
  1. Install the center console.
