A/T Output Shaft (Countershaft) Speed Sensor Replacement
  1. Remove the intake air duct and the air cleaner housing.
  1. Disconnect the output shaft (countershaft) speed sensor connector (A). Remove the output shaft (countershaft) speed sensor (B) with the speed sensor washer (C) (only for K24Z3 engine model).
  1. Install a new O-ring (D) on a new output shaft (countershaft) speed sensor, then install the output shaft (countershaft) speed sensor with the speed sensor washer (only for K24Z3 engine model) in the transmission housing.
    NOTE: The speed sensor washer is equipped on K24Z3 engine model; R20A3 engine model do not have a speed sensor washer.
  1. Check the connector for rust, dirt, or oil, and clean or repair if necessary, then connect the connector securely.
  1. Install the intake air duct and the air cleaner housing.
