A/T Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Valve B and C Replacement

  1. Do the battery removal procedure.
  1. Remove the battery base.
  1. Disconnect the connectors (A) from A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valves B and C.
  1. Remove the harness clamps (D) from the clamp brackets.
  1. Remove the mounting bolts and A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valves B and C with the clamp bracket (E).
  1. Remove the ATF joint pipes (F), the O-rings (G), and the gasket (H) from the transmission housing.
  1. Clean the mounting surface and the fluid passages of the transmission housing.
  1. Install a new gasket on the transmission housing, and install the ATF joint pipes.
    NOTE: Be sure to install a new gasket with the blue side toward the transmission housing.
  1. Install new O-rings over the ATF joint pipes.
  1. Install new A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valves B and C with the clamp bracket.
  1. Check the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valves B and C harness connectors for rust, dirt, or oil, and clean or repair if necessary, then connect the connectors securely.
  1. Install the harness clamps on the clamp brackets.
  1. Install the battery base.
  1. Do the battery installation procedure.
