Connect the HDS to the DLC (A), located under the driver's side of the dashboard.

Turn the ignition switch to ON (II). Make sure the HDS communicates with the PCM. If it does not, go to the DLC circuit troubleshooting; R20A3 engine model, K24Z3 engine model, and go to the BODY ELECTRICAL in the System Selection Menu with the HDS.

Select Gauges in the BODY ELECTRICAL menu with the HDS.

Select Adjustment in the Gauges menu with the HDS.

Select EU Maintenance Minder in the Adjustment menu with the HDS.

Select Service Reminder in the EU Maintenance Minder menu with the HDS.

NOTE: If the torque converter and the transmission assembly are replaced as a set, select Unit Replacement in the EU Maintenance Minder menu, then select Automatic Transmission menu, and reset the ATF life with the HDS.

Select Service Reminder ITEM 3, and reset the ATF life with the HDS.
