DTC Troubleshooting: B2630

DTC B2630:
 Left Rear Back-up Sensor Malfunction
  1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).
  1. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B2630 indicated?
YES -
Go to Step 4 .
NO -
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.■
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
  1. Swap the left rear back-up sensor and the left rear corner parking sensor.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
  1. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B2630 indicated?
YES -
Go to Step 8 .
NO -
Replace the left rear back-up sensor.■
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
  1. Disconnect the 6P connector from the left rear back-up sensor.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
  1. Measure the voltage between the left rear back-up sensor 6P connector No. 6 terminal and body ground.
Is there about 8 V?
YES -
Go to Step 12 .
NO -
Go to Step 19 .
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
  1. Disconnect the 6P connector from the left rear corner parking sensor.
