LKAS Control Unit DTC 31:
 The LKAS System Configuration Malfunction
NOTE: The LKAS system malfunction is detected when the control unit of different specification is installed at the following units replacing.
  • LKAS control unit
  • LKAS camera
  1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
  1. Select ‘‘LKAS'' on the HDS, and check the ECU ID No. 5 from the data list, then check the number ‘‘02'' (LHD model) or number ‘‘01'' (RHD model).
Is collect number indicated?
YES -
Replace the LKAS control unit. ■
NO -
  • The LKAS camera is different in the specification, check the part number and replace the LKAS camera with the correct specification one.
  • After the replacement, do the LKAS camera adjustment (aiming). ■
