DTC Troubleshooting: 1, 2
LKAS Control Unit DTC 1:
 Internal Failure of the LKAS Control Unit (EEPROM Malfunction)
LKAS Control Unit DTC 2:
 Internal Failure of the LKAS Control Unit (Transaction Time Error)
  1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), then turn it to ON (II).
  1. Watch the LKAS indicator.
Does the LKAS indicator come on?
YES -
Go to Step 4 .
NO -
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.■
  1. Check for DTC with the HDS.
Is DTC 1 or 2 indicated?
YES -
Check for loose terminals in the LKAS control unit connector, and repair if necessary. If all connections are OK, replace the LKAS control unit. ■
NO -
Troubleshoot the indicated DTC(s).■
