Vehicle Speed Signal Error

Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
-
Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then start the engine.

Test-drive the vehicle at the engine speed under 2,000 rpm (min
−1
) for 1 minute.

Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.■

Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

Substitute a known-good gauge control module.
-
Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
-
Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then start the engine.
-
Check for DTCs with the HDS.
