DTC 199:
 Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) unit Programming Error
NOTE:
  • This DTC is indicated when a ACC unit update is not completed.
  • Do not turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) while updating the ACC unit. If you turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) before completion, the ACC unit will be damaged.
  1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
  1. Do the ACC unit update procedure.
  1. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC 199 indicated?
YES -
Replace the ACC unit, then recheck■
NO -
The update is complete.■
