NOTE: If DTC 112 is stored at the same time as DTC 21 or 22, troubleshoot DTC 112 first, then recheck for DTC 21 or 22.

Check for VSA system DTCs with the HDS.

Troubleshoot the indicated VSA system DTC(s).■

Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

Watch the ACC indicator.

Does the ACC indicator come on?

YES

NO

|
Intermittent failure. The system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.■

Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Are DTC 21 or 22 indicated?

YES

NO

Troubleshoot the indicated DTC(s).■

Check the YAW RATE S with the HDS.
|
Is about 2.5 V indicated?
|
|
YES
|

The yaw rate-lateral acceleration sensor signal is OK, check for loose or poor connections. If the connections are OK,
update the ACC unit,
then recheck. If the ACC unit was already updated,
replace the ACC unit.
