Security Alarm Control Siren Input Test/Replacement

Disconnect the 6P connector (A) from the alarm control siren (B).

Inspect the connector and socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact.

If the terminals are bent, loose, or corroded, repair them as necessary, and recheck the system.

If the terminals look OK, go to
Step 4
.

With the connector still disconnected, make these input tests at the connector.

Disconnect the ultrasonic sensor 3P connector

Check for continuity between the No. 4 terminal and the ultrasonic sensor No. 2 terminal: There should be continuity.

Check for continuity to ground: There should be continuity.

Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

Remove the bolt from the alarm control siren, then replace it.

Install the siren in the reverse order of removal.
