Security Alarm Control Siren Input Test/Replacement
  1. Remove the right trunk side trim panel.
  1. Disconnect the 6P connector (A) from the alarm control siren (B).
  1. Inspect the connector and socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact.
    • If the terminals are bent, loose, or corroded, repair them as necessary, and recheck the system.
    • If the terminals look OK, go to Step 4 .
  1. With the connector still disconnected, make these input tests at the connector.
    • If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
    • If all the input tests prove OK, go to Step 5 .

    • Blown No. 15 (10 A) fuse in the under-hood fuse/relay box

    Check for continuity between the No. 3 terminal and the driver's MICU connector Q (20P) No. 9 terminal: There should be continuity.

    Disconnect the ultrasonic sensor 3P connector
    Check for continuity between the No. 4 terminal and the ultrasonic sensor No. 2 terminal: There should be continuity.

    Check for continuity to ground: There should be continuity.
    • Poor ground (G602)

    Check for continuity between the No. 6 terminal and the ultrasonic sensor off switch No. 12 [No. 2] terminal: There should be continuity.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
  1. Remove the bolt from the alarm control siren, then replace it.
  1. Install the siren in the reverse order of removal.
