Dashboard Driver's Undercover Removal/Installation

NOTE:
  • Take care not to scratch the dashboard and its related parts.
  • When removing components, use the trim tools or equivalent.
  1. Remove the driver's dashboard undercover (A).
    -1.
Gently pull down the rear edge to detach the clips. Because of the rear hooks (B) which are located above the driver's dashboard lower cover (C), the undercover doesn't fall down.
    -2.
Slightly pull the undercover rearward, with its rear edge above the driver's dashboard lower cover, to release its holder (D) from the pin (E).
    -3.
Lower the front of the undercover to release the rear hooks from the driver's dashboard lower cover.
    -4.
If equipped, disconnect the foot well light connector (F).
  1. Install the undercover in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
    • Push the clips into place securely.
    • If equipped, make sure the foot well light connector is plugged in properly.
    • Make sure the holder of the undercover is installed securely to the pin.
